I appreciate hearing from you. <\/p>\n<p \/>&nbsp;As you may know, Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution charges the <br \/>Senate with advising on and consenting to presidential nominees to <br \/>many executive branch offices. I consider this responsibility to be <br \/>one of my most important duties as a U.S. Senator. As the Senate <br \/>considers each of the President&#8217;s potential appointees, I treat each <br \/>individual with the same level of respect, scrutiny and courtesy that <br \/>I believe all nominees deserve. <\/p>\n<p \/>&nbsp;As I look at each individual, I will examine their record and <br \/>experience to see if they meet my long-held standards. I will <br \/>consider whether they are ethical, honest and qualified. Rest <br \/>assured, I will also keep your views in mind when making my final <br \/>decision on each nomination. <\/p>\n<p \/>&nbsp;I share your concern and thank you for your observations about the <br \/>President&#8217;s potential appointees. If I can be of service in the <br \/>future, please be in touch. <\/p>\n<p \/>&nbsp;I hope all is well in Redmond. <br \/><\/b> <\/p>\n<p \/>&nbsp;Impressive. I don&#8217;t know if she wrote this herself, if an aide wrote <br \/>it, or if she will even consider my opinion but it sure made me feel <br \/>great.
