Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you
didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail
away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.

It is hot… In Seattle?

Is this weather really good old Seattle?it has never been this hot. Record breaking temperatures. But if this is global warming, bring it on. I love warm weather. We are heading down south to go to a family reunion. Should be nice and toasty.

On An iPhone?

I got this photo during the Ragnar Relay when the cell switched over to Rogers the Canadian carrier.

I almost laughed after I quickly switched off data roaming. 15 bucks a megabyte? I could rack up a 300 dollar bill in about half an hour. 🙂

We Did It!

So my iPhone died at around 2 in the morning. But we finished the Ragnar.  I sprained my ankle really badly during my 2nd leg but I finished the 7.8 miles.  I could only run about 2 miles of the next one so Johnny and my Dad had to finish it.  But we all finished and then ate lunch at Mike's Place on the Island.  Coming home on the ferry was an exercise in trying to find a comfortable place to sleep.  All told it was a great, fun, family, experience.

2nd leg down

It is getting dark. We are crusing along. We stopped at this random house to wait for our runner and the nicest lady came out and talked to us. We filled up our water bottles in her kitchen. We had our pre made spagetti dinner that we reheated on a stove at the local high school and tried to sleep.
