So my iPhone died at around 2 in the morning. But we finished the Ragnar. I sprained my ankle really badly during my 2nd leg but I finished the 7.8 miles. I could only run about 2 miles of the next one so Johnny and my Dad had to finish it. But we all finished and then ate lunch at Mike's Place on the Island. Coming home on the ferry was an exercise in trying to find a comfortable place to sleep. All told it was a great, fun, family, experience.

2nd leg down
It is getting dark. We are crusing along. We stopped at this random house to wait for our runner and the nicest lady came out and talked to us. We filled up our water bottles in her kitchen. We had our pre made spagetti dinner that we reheated on a stove at the local high school and tried to sleep.

First leg down.
Ran my first leg. Went out too fast. Dallin ran 6:30 for his 4 miles. Kari a new mom is tearing her stage up. Passing people left and right. It is a little warm but not too bad. Lovin it!
And we’re off… To Subway
The starting line with the Peace Arch in the background. Our first runner Johnny took off and we took off to Subway. Got to carbo load.
Being this close to the border the exchange rate matters.
We are following the course to see our family run, then we are going to go chill at the park till our leg.
Van Riding
The meeting was had, the cars are packed we are rolling. I-5 straight up to the Canadian border. The road is being repaved on the highway so it is a little bumpy.

4 Simple Ways to Make Your Day Better
These come from http://www.onsimplicity.net/2009/06/four-simple-ways-to-make-the-most-of-your…
Do…1. One things that scares you.
2. One thing that soothes you.
3. One thing for someone else.
4. One thing for the future. Basically just think about how you want the day to go and do it. Kinda simple but I think that sometimes we go so wrapped up in living or doing that we forget to think why or how.
