I love this idea.  The world is needing some big ideas that change how
we produce and consume.  We have so much in America, if we try to
recreate a bunch of “Americas” all over the world we are simple going
to run out of resources.

I love love love the idea of taking processes and finding ways to use
the waste. Waste not want not applies on a “earth” level as well.

Great Commercial from… Google?

Google isn’t know for having great commercials. But I really like this one.

It is super simple and to the point and almost emotional. The most
amazing thing is it never leaves the Google search page. No flashy
photography, no models. I like it.

Steve Nash is my new Hero

Nash

Great article on Steve Nash over at FastCompany.  I am amazed by his level head and business spirit.

Some of the article highlights are…
"Nash's change of heart came a few years later, after he reconnected with Jeff Mallett, a family friend who was president of Yahoo in its go-go years. They talked about life after basketball, and Nash admitted he hadn't given it much thought. After building Yahoo into the Web's No. 1 destination by the age of 40, Mallett himself had wrestled with the What now? question. "I challenged Steve with an email that said, 'It's 20 years from now and you have 15 minutes to tell what you've done in the last 20 years,' " Mallett recalls. " 'If you mention basketball, you fail.' "

"Nash now has a business plan for the newly formed Steve Nash Enterprises, a portfolio of a dozen ventures. He has started a film-production company; become a part owner of the Vancouver Whitecaps, which will join Major League Soccer in 2011; and taken equity in several startups, including Mission Skincare, which develops products for athletes based on field testing from him, Serena Williams, and other elite pros. Ultimately, part of the revenue will go to his foundation."

BYU bests Utah 82-69

I enjoyed the game.  The Cougars have a great team and got help from a couple of different players, but as usual, Jimmer Fredette took over the game when it got close.

Tempers where high as usual against our biggest rival and Emery got hit in the face by a Ute freshman.  That got the crowd going.

BYU is going to have success this March in the tournament.

Refollow is a nifty little utility to help you manage your following and your followers on Twitter.  You can sort by picture or no picture, following or not, and even tweets in the last x number of days.

If you use Twitter you should check it out.

If you don't use Twitter, and before you ask me about why I want to tell the whole interwebz about what I am eating for breakfast let me point you to a presentation that I worked on illustration the benefits of Twitter.  (http://www.slideshare.net/freshconsulting/what-is-twitter-1689136)
